If there is one thing that causes more different emotions than someone going to Jared’s, it’s snow. Think about it: fear, joy, worry, boredom, annoyance, happiness…, the list goes on. Some like the snow, some loath it. There is so much that can be done in snow, and so much that can’t be done. Some things become really dangerous in snow, while other things can only be done in snow (or water in some cases, but behind a boat). The dangerous things such as driving or walking can really be a chore. Shoveling becomes a necessity to be able to go anywhere, or four-wheel-drive. And then if you get stuck…

However, there’s a positive side to snow. Skiing and snowboarding, sledding, hot chocolate, sitting by a fire being able to look out the window at a vast expanse of beautifully whitened landscape; these are just a few things. The snow-capped mountains are beautiful, as is a forest with trees covered in snow. How can I describe some of the winter wonderlands that have come into view just from the living-room window? Sometimes, just sitting at the window watching the snow fall can be a relaxing experience.

So snow can create many different emotions in people. To some it is a four letter word, while to others it is the ticket to fun. It’s just amazing!
